Wow…this movie was interesting….. I think the reason why i found so much interest in it was because i run a horror blog. This movie of course as you can see by the title focus’s a lot on the shadow people phenomenon. It references too various historical encounters of shadow people from “DJINN” to “RAVEN MOCKER” to “HAT MAN” etc….I really enjoyed that about this movie. With a film style of “The Fourth Kind” using interviews and random “archival footage” to explain, i think you guys might enjoy this one…entertainment wise…I found myself googling some of the phenomenon they were speaking of during the flick and finding some pretty interesting stuff….

Shadow People - What are shadow people? No one seems to know for sure, even as sightings of these entities continue to be reported. Generally they appear as dark, silhouette figures, usually male, who suddenly walk across hallways, through walls, appear in rooms only to disappear again, and sometimes stand looking at a sleeping person only to eventually vanish once the sleeper has awakened. They have no purpose; don’t seem to be harbingers of any sort. Are they from another dimension? The afterlife? Whatever they are, they have scared enough people to have drawn some increased attention to their shadowy selves.
Shadow People are so named because they are only seen as roughly human-shaped shadows. They are mostly only seen in the corner of ones eyes. They seem somehow drawn to mirrors. They also appear to be more tangible than “regular” apparitions, and are such more likely to show up on camera.
They are believed to be glimpses of another dimension, somehow bleeding through into our universe. Another explanation is that they are negative emotions given shape and are, as such, dangerous and aggressive.
They are also associated with night paralysis, with poltergeist phenomena, and injuries with no obvious cause. Many seem to agree that if there is any supernatural being which can cause harm to humans, this is it.
